River Scene

Yesterday evening at the river mouth. It had a feel to it.

Woodie

There was a small, local “Woodies on the Wharf” a few weeks ago.  I was
out photographing and caught this scene.

Coast Walk

Pelicans soaring! Just north of Año Nuevo on the Atkinson Bluff Trail.
This is a stellar walk. Great views of the coast and very few people
even in the summer months.
At Whitehouse Creek there’s a picturesque beach. Linnet on the rocks!

Sunday Walk

A few scenes that caught my eye while out walking with Alpalster this morning.
Martial arts practice, Seacliff State Beach.
Dog workout, Rio Del Mar.
Variation on my ongoing umbrella theme, Seacliff State Beach.

Beach Weather

We’ve had a streak of hot days on the Monterey Bay. Beach weather supreme!

No Jacket Required

Saturday woke up bright, sunny and warm. I grabbed a camera and headed to the beach
 area to make photographs.
Linda likes to walk the beach at low tide and doodle in the sand!
The ever present volleyball players.
It was great to be out enjoying the warm morning, snapping photos and taking in the beach scene!

More Beach Bikes

There’s something liberating about riding under your own power on a
super lowtide beach. No cars, cool breeze blowing off the water and very
 few people around.
It’s a solid workout too. The tires sink into the sand a little bit and
you have to constantly peddle to maintain speed. Try it sometime!
