Beach Walk

Summer is Santa Cruz County, chilly fog with a touch of wind. That’s beach weather.
On South County beaches, often your only company will be other walkers, the
odd surfer and people fishing.
There are always treasures to be discovered.
And the feeling of being out, moving, enjoying empty beaches.

Eerie Sky

The past couple of days the sky has been dark and sinister. Yellow, orange,
red on the color spectrum. Yesterday people were driving with headlights
on at midday. At 4:00 PM it was dark. “Strange days have found us.”
