So calm and peaceful this morning.

Coast Walk

To celebrate my 67th birthday, Alice and I took a nice
hike north of Año Nuevo.
The Cascade Creek trail is a classic. Bluffs, beach, wildlife, wilflowers and
multiple ecosystems.
These photos were all made close to mid-day. Not the best
light but ….nice memories.

Father’s Day

This is my first Father’s Day without Dad. He died earlier this year at the age of 92.
Extra thoughts of him today.

Stay Safe

Despite what some people would like you to believe, we haven’t seen the
end of COVID-19.

Unhappy Accident

Photographers love to use the term “a happy accident” to describe a
successful photograph that happened by chance. Above is an “unhappy accident”. I’m not 100% sure what happened
My guess would be it has something to do with heat. There’s the blotchy grey areas and the frame numbers showing in the photo. It’s a mystery. Too bad! This roll was from a classic day walking on South County beaches.

Solo Frisbee

After surfing this morning I watched this guy entertaining  himself with his frisbee.
It’s hard to tell from the still photos but he was really good and going at a furious pace.
His pandemic workout!
