South County Sunday Walk! We saw all sorts of shore birds, dolphins, harbor seals and California sea lions. Low tide, small waves and slight offshore wind made for classic Central Coast conditions. It’s not spring yet, but it sure felt like it this morning. I posted a similar photo (but not the same photo) on my Instagram feed- @jonnycakes7 Photo made with iPhone X, edited in Snapseed.

I was out doing a little wandering yesterday afternoon.
The fun zone was sleeping.
I had a couple of cameras loaded with black and white film. But it was the bright colors that caught my eye.
iPhone to the rescue! This sequence was made on an iPhone 6 and edited with Snapseed!

I’ve photographed this late afternoon scene many times. I like the figures framed by the wharf. And, if I’m lucky, someone walking above.

It was a cold and windy day with a little rain in the morning. I’d been working around the house most of the day. In the late afternoon I decided to check out the beach area for photos. Here’s one of them.

A different day and a different camera. This one was made with a Holga 120N and Lomography 400, color negative film. He stood there for the longest time. He seemed to be completely absorbed in his thoughts, his boots and the sand.
