Peeling posters, old graffiti and flaking paint.
Copenhagen has some great walls for close up, abstract photography.

I’m just back from almost a month in Scandinavia. First stop, Copenhagen! Still the world’s number one bike city!
Public transportation and walking are popular too!
These photos were made in the Nørrebro neighborhood. Definitely one of the coolest and most interesting neighborhoods in the city! There are all sorts of restaurants, pubs, coffee shops and a young, diverse (for Denmark) demographic.

Here’s another the flea market on the outside wall of Assistens Kirkegård. (See previous post.)

On weekends the outside wall of Assistens Kirkegård (Cemetery) in the Nørrebro neighborhood of Copenhagen becomes an impromptu flea market.
Inside many famous and not so famous Danes are buried. Hans Christian Anderson, Søren Kierkegaard and Christoffer Wilhelm Eckersberg and expatriate American jazz musicians Ben Webster and Kenny Drew are a few of the famous buried in Assistens Kirkegård.
It’s also a beautiful park. Locals come to read, picnic, play with their children and relax.

My kind of scene- when faces or eyes remain visible on old, worn posters, Nørrebro, Copenhagen.

The Copenhagen Lakes are three rectangular lakes on the western edge of the City Center. The paths around them are filled runners, bicyclists, families with young children and older people feeding the swans and sea gulls. If the sun is out it’s a bonus!
