I’m just back from a family holiday in Austin, Texas. This is “Forever Bicycles” a sculpture created by Ai WeiWei. It’s on display near the Ann and Roy Butler Hike and Bike Trail. Another Austin favorite is Barton Springs Pool. It’s a natural limestone pool fed by water from natural springs.Austin has some nice street art! The Virgen de Guadalupe in East Austin.
Day 2: We catch an early morning D Train up to Yankee Stadium in the Bronx. Cooper is running the Bronx 10 Mile. It’s a NYC runners happening- 14,000 participants. He’s catching air and smiling at the finish line!
