Yesterday the Santa Cruz Sentinel ran a nice story on my Homeless Garden Project photo display. If you haven’t seen it, check out the Rittenhouse Building windows at the corner of Pacific Ave. and Church St. The photos are on the Church St. side facing Urban Outfitters. I've been photographing regularly at the Homeless Garden Project for about a year now. One thing that I understand better is the cyclical nature of life on the farm. As summer ends, fields are prepared for winter crops or cover crops. The work is constant and rarely slows down.
