Random SoCal

When I visit Mom in SoCal I like to take an early morning walk.
I usually carry a camera and my trusty iPhone. These are a
few things that caught my eye while wandering.
These three photos were made on the phone with the Hipstamatic app.
Simple subjects!

A warm, sunny, spring morning and a building south swell. Capitola scene!
An unplanned iPhone panorama stuck together from two photos.

Spring Rain

It rained for most of the day. As soon as it stopped I headed down to the beach.
Two versions of the same scene near the mouth of the mighty San Lorenzo River.

South Pacific Sunset

Looking west from Tahiti. That’s the island of Moorea in the distance.
The same sunset a few minutes later. One of the most colorful sunsets I’ve ever seen!

While Walking

I was out on a morning walk. Trying to stay ahead of the rain.
A couple of Boardwalk scenes caught my eye!

Dance

Out on a sunny Sunday bike ride at UCSC, I saw members of the student folklórico
dance group, Los Mejicas, practicing outside of the music building.
