Beach Scenes

As we know, summer in Santa Cruz County can be “mostly foggy”, Aptos Creek.
A few random scenes from this past week.
Morning surf check at Sunset State Beach. I exchanged “good mornings” with a
German couple. When I walked down to the water’s edge I saw this scene. Big trip?
So many pelicans have been in flight lately, Sunset State Beach.
Windy and cold but still surfing, near Manresa State Beach.

Movement

After nine days of isolation it feels good to get out and move! This scene
caught my eye while on a Seacliff-Rio Del Mar beachwalk this morning.

Some Summer Scenes

There’s probably more fog than sunshine during summer on the Monterey Bay.
But, the fog and overcast can make nice conditions for photography.
Colors pop and stand out against the grey sky and water.
The Capitola Venetian!
Yeah, summer on the Monterey Bay. Waiting for the sun!
