The Southwest
We took a trip to the Southwest (almost to the Haitian boarder) and it looked like this! Bahía de las Ãguilas in Parque Nacional Jaragua is beautiful, remote and uncrowded. This photo is not the result of heavy handed use of Photoshop. That's what it looked like!

Las Galeras
From Las Terrenas we made our way to Las Galeras. If you like out of the way tropical spots, book a ticket ASAP. Small town, beautiful, quiet, beach and close proximity to one of the finest stretch of beaches you'll ever see. Really a special place.

Homeless Garden Project Turns 20!

Lake Champlain
I just printed this photo and I was drying it on my t-shirt as I slipped it into the scanner. I guess you could say I was a little excited. Something about the light, water, sky and boats feels like what I was seeing when I clicked the shutter on my Holga. Oh, and that beautiful Tri-X grain. Film lives!

Roadside Attraction
As far as I know, tipis were dwellings used by the Plains Indians, which is why this geographically and culturally confused tipi, along with "old glory" caught my eye. N. Hero Island, VT.
