Lafayette Cemetery in New Orleans is full of stories. There’s history and tragedy carved into the tombs and grave stones. It’s a great place to slowly wander about and snap photos.
Flowers, Mardi Gras beads, small, smooth stones. muted tones.

I pulled this one out of a storage box. I made it in Paris, 2003. Black and white film, printed on Agfa Multicontrast Classic 118 fiber paper, sepia toned and hand colored. I like the layers of stuff on the wall and the juxtaposition of the old painted lingerie sign and the newish poster with a woman’s leg.
