George Floyd

I was biking along the frontage road near New Brighton Beach
when I saw this poster honoring George Floyd,  Breonna Taylor,
Ahmaud Arbery….

It seemed like such a random spot to post this powerful image. I
thought I’d see others as I continued my ride. This was the only one.
Beautiful artwork and a strong message.

Seattle Public Art

Plastic flowers attached to telephone poles are popular in Seattle.
A very colorful and cool mural.
A neon sculpture outside the Museum of Museums.
Torn and faded posters on a wall. Always a favorite of mine.

Explicit Content

I’m always drawn to the random juxtaposition of
images and words on city walls.

Cesar Chavez Day

In honor of Cesar Chavez here is a detail from a mural painted on the side of a corner
store in Merced, CA. The mural was painted by the Mariposa Art Company.

Faces

A couple of random street photos from Austin, TX.
Both scenes offer a crazy combination of faces- that’s what caught my eye.
