I’m just back from a week in SoCal. I caught this scene while out on a morning walk.

If you’re in Oslo, you must visit the Vigeland Sculpture Garden in Frogner Park. There are 212 granite and bronze sculptures by Norway’s number one sculptor, Gustav Vigeland, on display. Unique is an understatement!

No grand vistas, just a couple of little things that caught my eye.

The figures, path and trees caught my eye. The photo was made with a Holga, at a medieval castle and fortress called Akershus Festning in Oslo, Norway.

It’s a short tram ride from Gothenburg to the town of Saltholmen. There we hopped on a ferry to Brännö Island. “Another time another place” as Van Morrison would say.
The archipelago islands feel completely different than the mainland. Bicycles and flatbed mopeds are the means of transportation.
At the far end of the island, a 45 minute walk, it’s quiet. The only sounds are wind and water.
It was a great day trip. One of the highlights of “Scandi Spring”.

The further back I was, the more real it looked. An art installation near the mouth of the Göta älv, Gothenburg, Sweden.
