We arrived after dark. In the morning this was the scene just outside our door.

Olive and Cooper walk along the Rio Douro in Porto, Portugal. Porto is one of the most picturesque cities I’ve ever visited. Everywhere you look there’s a view. This photo was made with a plastic camera on film!

When walking in Madrid keep your eyes peeled. The walls hold hidden treasures.
If you walk too fast or your head is down, you might overlook a gem like this one.
Like the corner store, street art is an integral part of the neighborhoods.
Sometimes it’s creative, other times it’s a happy accident. Nothing is sacred. All public space is subject to modification.

Casa de Campo is Madrid’s largest park and one of largest in Europe. On Sunday Madrilenos flock to the park. Joggers, families, bicyclists, picnickers all make use of this great urban park! In the background you can catch a glimpse of the Royal Palace and the Catedral de Nuestra Señora de La Almudena.
