I'm just back from a fun filled trip to Portland, OR. These photos were taken on the MAX, Portland's light rail system, after a Trailblazers game. I'm using a little Lumix DMC-LX5 point and shoot.
The MAX is a great way to travel to and from a basketball game. It can can get a little tight on the return when everyone wants to get on the same train. Fortunately, Portlanders are generally polite and well mannered. The social contract seems to work.

After nearly a week of frosty mornings I started thinking of warmer places. I recently printed and hand colored this Holga photo. It was taken last fall, along Route 44, on the Dominican Republic's southwest coast. It helps to warm me up!

Sheep Farm Road, another route Cooper runs.
Hiking the Moosalamoo National Recreation Area. Great hiking in Vermont!

Middlebury is the quintessential Vermont college town. The Middlebury College campus looks like something out of a movie, with Adirondack chairs, stone buildings, huge lawns and trees in yellow, orange and red.
It's a great college environment.
Inside Coffrin Hall, looking out. Blog followers, I'm having some technical problems with WordPress, hence the smaller photos. Just click on them and they'll get bigger.
