Street

Prague is one of the most popular cities to visit in Europe. School groups on spring break…

Tour groups from all over the world…

All sorts of people. The people watching can be as much fun as the sightseeing!

The Bride

The Charles Bridge in Prague is a popular location for wedding photographs. On this morning there were at least six couples, each with a photographer, catching the early morning light.

Patterns

Prague Castle is one of biggest tourist destinations in the city. Poking around the edges it’s possible to find a quiet spot.

Generation Wealth

If you’re in the Los Angeles area, you might want to check out Lauren Greenfield’s new photo exhibit at the Annenberg Space For Photography in Century City.

Greenfield takes on big issues, income inequality, the desire to accumulate wealth, obsession with appearance, the crash of 2008. Ultimately the photos are about “our pervasive desire for more”. The photographs are on display until August 13, 2017. Check it out!

Carnival

Outside a small carnival in Prague. I liked the scene- mother and son, colorful balloons, classic looking building, afternoon light and spring sky.

Praha AKA Prague

Early morning, looking across the Vltave River. A classic Prague view. Many, many photos are taken from this spot. The Charles Bridge is on the left of the frame.

Empty street and Gerhard Richter poster. I liked the scene.

Spring! Made in a quiet park out of the city center.

More Bikes!

Looking through my photos from Denmark, bicycles were a consistent theme. It makes sense. Danish bike culture dates back to the first bicycle. In Copenhagen people have biked to work since the 1880’s.

They’re ubiquitous!

Bikes seem to be a part of the cityscape. They fit right in with the posters, graffiti and street art.
