State Route 25

**If you’re traveling to Pinnacles National Park and headed for the east**
**gate you’ll have an opportunity to check out Highway 25.**

**On a Monday in December it was nearly empty. No cars ahead.**
**No cars behind. It feels like old California**

It’s road trip ready. Small towns (Tres Pinos population 476), cattle ranches, an occasional vineyard and lonely trees. Not yet an offically designated “scenic highway” it certainly fits my definition.
