Summer is Santa Cruz County, chilly fog with a touch of wind. That’s beach weather.On South County beaches, often your only company will be other walkers, the odd surfer and people fishing.
There are always treasures to be discovered.
And the feeling of being out, moving, enjoying empty beaches.
I was out on the Capitola wharf this morning checking out the scene. A lot of activity but plenty of space and a good number of people wearing masks. I’m sure it picked up later in the day but early morning was fine!The bouquets are above individual’s commenrative plaques. A nice tradition!
