I followed this surfer from Cowell’s snapping photos he made his way down the beach. The Boardwalk in the background and the low tide reflections were nice. The seagulls were a lucky addition.

Appropriated from the Reagan-era term used to describe how a country’s “soft” assets such as culture, political values, and foreign policies can be more influential than coercive or violent expressions of power.” If you’re in San Francisco this exhibit is worth seeing.
