The Gaylor Lakes trailhead is not far from the Tioga Pass entrance to Yosemite. It’s a short, steep climb to the top. Then a short, steep descent to Middle Gaylor Lake. We only saw two people (from a distance) the entire time we were at the lakes.
We had lunch and walked around both lakes. This is Upper Gaylor Lake. The elevation is over 10,000 feet. I love the desolate but beautiful scene.
A month ago I posted a couple of iPhone photos of the Pyramids at the base of the Santa Cruz Wharf. I ended up photographingthe scene a number times with multiple cameras. This one was made when the project was finished with a Hasselblad 501CM and Kodak Tri-X120mm film.
This one was made with a LOMO camera and 120mm Kodak Gold 200. The work was still in progress here.
Finally we have a classic Holga photo made with Tri-X 120mm film
